'You've got chickens havn't you', 'Yes, why are you getting some?', thinking I would be way off the mark, so imagine my delightful shock when she said 'YES'. They are at the thinking about/considering/planning stage but she would like to keep them. Fantastic, I will no longer be the only chicken lady in the village... You may be surprised. I expected some negativity but have not had ANY. Most neighbours have commented on how they enjoy watching them, listening to them and they certainly enjoy the odd box of eggs that I give them.
