Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

I ask because my eldest is going this weekend with some kids from her college, & neither of us really knows what to expect over there.

I suspect she is hoping for mulled wine

Umm ... I went about three years ago for a weekend with a friend, have to say we weren't that impressed!

 

I think my recollection is flavoured by the bitingly cold wind and driving rain which met us when we got to Lille station, coupled with the total absence of cabs. Not a single one! We spent most of the weekend in our hotel room, which was absolutely lovely as I recall, but the market itself wasn't that great. I was hoping for traditional toys, local crafts etc but it was not much different to anything I'd seen here.

 

I may have just been unlucky, and the weather made us reluctant to hang around outdoors so perhaps I missed some of the better bits, don't want to sound too negative! I'd be interested to hear what your daughter thinks of it.

Well, the forecast is good anyhow, & she is only going for the day,so hopefully she won't get too bored!

They have booked a local Creperie for lunch I think, & are also going to a museum & art gallery too.

My DD went whilst on her year in France last year. I have to say she wasn't overly impressed either but everyone's different. It always looks nice when you see it advertised. I hope your daughter has a lovely time.
