The Rivetts
Praise be An egg for me! All the things the forum says were true. At the weekend I noticed Betty had suddenly sprouted a fabulous big bright red comb and wattles. Then when I went to stroke her, she flattened as though afraid, but treadled with her legs. Today, hey presto! One lovely 60 oz egg. My only mild disappointment is that I had hoped for a darker egg from a speckledy - a bit more like a Maran egg. But oh the joy of seeing that perfect egg. Just got to wait for Mabel to get going now...

Helen x No, it was a thing of beauty to be admired when we got in from work. Our 4 year ols son, Alex wants it with soldiers for his tea tomorrow.
