jimnpaula
I managed to venture outside today for the first time in about a week (on nights then ? brewing a chest infection, James has been a good chicken daddy.), to see how my poor girls are coping in this weather. Good news is they all seem to be in good spirits although not wanting to step on this cold white stuff (eat it, yes, just not step on it) One thing I noticed was the ice on the outside of the cube - just goes to show how hot they're making it when they're all inside. I think it must be from their body heat, the sun isn't warm enough to melt the snow anywhere else in our garden. P
TAJ
With the frost my cube poo trays are frozen in position - I couldn't empty them at the weekend - I can still openw the egg port. Tracy
