dippy bird Posted December 21, 2009 Share Posted December 21, 2009 Our hens didn't go to bed as normal yesterday.We had let them out to free range in the afternoon as we normally do,but they were still wondering around in the snow at 5pm.My OH and DD had to physically put them all to bed.Is the snow confusing them do you think? Daphne Posted December 21, 2009 Share Posted December 21, 2009 it could also be that the light reflecting off the snow makes them think its still day - like you ours are staying up much later than normal, although in one case I'm sure its because they aren't getting up till much later than normal because they're scared of the snow!!
