fluffyfeet
Could someone put my mind at rest please. The girls have been in and our a couple of times this morning and have now been out for a good hour and a half, firstly preening for ages and they are now four little fluffed up very round feathery flumps and appear to be dozing??????? Are anyone else's doing this - or do you think something more sinister is going on? They scoffed down some warm scrambled egg earlier - I'm hoping they are just having a post lunch slump. tom123
My 3 are doing this at the moment too, no need to worry. Actually all of mine are
fluffyfeet
It was like watching them have a siesta - bonkers birds.... They went to bed as normal, and I think they will be pleased as I topped up their Hemcore so they can snuggle down if they want to. Haven't had any eggs for a while now either, whereas last year I got them now and again right through - are yours still laying? Pikey
Mine have been doing it too this afternoon. They sat in a line on top of their run, cleaned themselves and then puffed up and continued to do that for about an hour......eyes closed on and off. Just more time wasting for me which is why I'm working now (kind of) rather than relaxing
