Hi bronze, not too sure (someone correct me if I'm wrong) but I think batteries tend to be ISA browns, a similar breed to the omlet gingernut ranger. And I think I read somewhere that bantams are 1/4 - 1/2 the size of a normal chicken but lay eggs only 3/4 normal size. 'True' bantams are actually a seperate breed, they don't have a full size equivalent. Not sure how accurate that info is, but it's a start!!
