Ben1994
Hi i have 4 chickens at the moment. They used to all lay fine, but now since about October i am only getting two eggs and have never had 3 eggs or 4 eggs. They all are warrens. I let them free range whenever im in. They all eat and drink fine and all a chirpy apart from one because when i call them to give them food one is always lagging behind and moves quite slowly. Chook n Boo Mum
Ben1994, given the time of year I would assume that they have slowed for the winter rather than anything more sinister or personal . Keep an eye on the little one who lags behind, but as long as she's eating, drinking & pooing I wouldn't worry too much. Just as a fairly standard question, have you wormed them recently, if not, maybe they should be, she might have a worm burden which is slowing her down..use Flubenvet as per the instructions on the pack. They should be wormed 3-4 times a year to keep worms in check. I'm sure somebody with more experience will be along soon Good luck with your girls, Sha x
