Aggienator
Florence has decided it is time to moult (just a bit, not the oven ready type), but her comb seems to be paler than usual. They live on layers pellets and some corn. Is there anything else I should give them (also last wormed them about 4-5 months ago, so should worm them again)? Many thanks, Aggie
chelsea
Mine are moulting at the moment and all have pale combs, so I don't think the combs are anything to worry about. Worming them again won't do any harm, I tend to do mine every 3-4 months or so. Small quantities of chick crumb, meal worms and rinsed tuna are a good source of extra protein which will aid the new feather growth. Egluntyne
The pale combs tend to go with a moult as their hormones dip. I'd worm her again if it hasn't been done for a while.
