Hi all,

 

My daughter is looking for some decent clipart, images, designs etc to make signs, displays and labels for our display board and egg boxes etc.

 

If anyone has anything they think she could use, then please could you forward them on to me.

The only thing I'd say would be to have a look at royalty/copyright free images just if you sell the egg boxes etc

 

There are a few websites with image libraries full of them, some free some charge a small amount ... have a look here

Google images is a good place to start.

I tend to draw most of my own stuff but google is the place to start, use the filters for best results

I use clickr http://www.clker.com/ for clipart ... free downloads.

You may well have to get permission to use the art from the copyright holder. Even copyrigh-free clipart is only free to use if it is for non-commercial uses. They may consider that use on egg boxes and so on as part of a "corporate image" even if it is non profit-making, is a commercial use. However if you can persuade them that you take no money or make no profit then they may let you use it for free.

 

Just because it is on the internet doesn't mean it is legal or free to use.
