Hi, my sister is coming in one month time and I would like to take her for some show/concert or something like that. As I have not been anywhere for over a year (due to breastfeeding) I really would like to go and see something funny. However my sister does not speak much English.

Years back I went to see the Blue Man Group and that would be perfect. But they are not performing any more. Does anybody have any suggestion of some comedy show or something where the language is not the main part please?

The thing that first jumps into my mind is a ballet with no speaking or Stomp ... haven't seen it but have seen little clips and adverts for it. Theres no speaking so that solves that problem

Stomp was the one that sprung to my mind too. Depends on your love of drums and rhythm.

 

Failing that perhaps something that's well known for songs rather than storyline like Mamma Mia (where the story is so light but the songs are good) or We Will Rock You (ditto, except the story is practically non existent).

Cirque du Soleil would we one we'd like to see. The other would be Riverdance.

Thanks everybody, some really good ideas! I think we will try to get tickets for the Cirque du Soleil , mainly because of the venue. I am a big fan of Royal Albert Hall
