Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Hi all, I'm getting my girls back on Thursday (maybe tomorrow if the woodchip arrives)

 

So i've now got a couple of questions

 

For the bedding i'm going to use sawdust & line the poo tray with sawdust too (Bob Martins Soft wood bedding)is that enough? should i add some dry news paper too to keep the warm

 

Will putting a small hot water bottle in the nest box wrapped in some doggy poo bags keep them warm most of the night?

 

is there anything special i can give them in this weather?

 

and if it get's any colder can i bring them indoors at night? (i have a small pet carrier they can go in)
