CharLeila
Can anyone recommend a good chicken Keeping book. There seem to be quite a few but which one should I choose? I think it would be useful to have one which would help me to recognise illnesses and one that would be in plain english as I'm still quite new to chicken keeping. Thanks in advance Edited January 11, 2010 by Guest

Redwing
This book is good. I have a few by Dave Scrivener and they are always easy to understand and have good advice in http://www.amazon.co.uk/Poultry-Breeds-Management-Introductory-Guide/dp/1861269943/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1263215679&sr=8-5 Also the book 'Avoid the Vet' which is a Practical Poultry magazine book is very good, its really just a copy of lots of their magazine articles so doesnt really read as a book but is very useful for recognising illnesses/pests etc...
