Cranberry Mealyworms.

Recommended Posts

I'm sure the rest of the forum think I am. Therefore I am.... I think :doh::D

However, being bonkers is a quality that is cherished here, as most of us are :D

So please accept this post as validation that you are welcomed and appreciated and supported.

If you want to eat mealworms, who are we to argue (although I maintain this is eating that does need help. I am just picturing you discussing it with a nutritionist..... but they are high in protein.... or maybe at a weigh"Ooops, word censored!"chers meeting...... so whats they points value on a handful of mealworms.... or explaining your breaktime snack to your work colleagues! You get the mental picture I have :anxious: )

I've just got my first pack of meal worms for the ladies, and I'm terrified now that I'm going to open the packet and be overcome by an irresistible urge to tuck in...

Mmm. You may be tempted yet.... Thing is, it's the real quaaality 8)8) ones that take you by surprise.. You know... the whole ones with little heads and legs all intact. THEY smell laaaaaavly and leave you sorely tempted. Put it another way..... While ever I was buying mine from the local market, I was "Yeh, mealworms for the girls, whatever, they seem to luv em," but, when I ran out of cheapos, and had to resort to the more upmarket ones.... well..... you know the rest.

Thank goodness I only got them from Tescos then! (They're doing 2 bags for a fiver; don't know if that's good or bad.)

Suebee - where do you get the upmarket ones? I've got a mental picture of a bag advertising fairtrade organic free range mealworms lightly dusted with mountain rock salt...

:lol::lol: Coo! Bet they'd be tasty! Re Tesco though. I do most of my shopping there, yet have never thought to look for mealworms! So thanks for that! Might be a way of weaning myself off the hard stuff! (which are Bill Oddie's, by the way......but....... :shh: ....don't think he's missed em yet  )
