alexsamp Posted January 21, 2010 Share Posted January 21, 2010 Can you clip quails wings as I have always had a dream of my ducks and chickens walking around in my garden on a beautiful summers day an I have thought about getting quails and I don't want them to fly away. Lewis Posted January 21, 2010 Share Posted January 21, 2010 2 things: You can clip their wings to stop them flying but they still boing + jump up when scared. Quail can't free-range and are best kept away from chickens + ducks - they can be kept with bantams if they have enough space.
