jayjay
When I was talking to the people who supplied my ducks that's exactly what they said - a box with newspaper or straw and some holes in. We ended up just using a cat box as we only had to transport 2. they quacked all the way home too
Lesley
Yes, any box with airholes will be fine. We use newspaper and straw or shavings in the box.

ChrisEllis
I dont know yet, they have over 150 i might get a choclate black and white one - 1 male 2 females, and living in our shed - bit like a coop but we havent bought another coop yet - sheds been empty for years used t be used as our dogs kennel - probably more insulted than a coop lol
tom123
Cool Yep, sheds are good, especially for ducks as it enables you to sweep the whole floor out every couple of days very easily and finding eggs is easy too! Are they living in your big run with your chooks?
ChrisEllis
Well, we are dividing it in half as it is quite large, and then at night putting them in the shed, but on monday we are building anotgher pen next to the chickens pen, so there is one for ducks and one fr chickens Quite exciting
