megghen
thanks for your replies chuckmum and Saronne. i see you have blue eggs too- if i boil them will the shell loose its colour? i want to show off at work on monday lunchtime with my boiled blue egg! also sorry to ask but how on earth do i add the info on my girls at the bottom of my page like everyone else does? many thanks
chuckmum6
Your egg should keep its colour just like brown ones do. To add your signature go to 'control panel' - 'profile' - and the signature option, then add in the details if you want the smilies add in their codes Good luck! Charlottechicken
I believe Araucanas lay eggs with the colour going right through to the inside of the shell, so the colour will never rub off I am just a little of your lovely blue egg, my bantam Araucana lays pure white eggs , she started laying at 22 weeks and does lay a good sized egg for her size, the yolks are full size and there's just less white.
