ewungelema
Hi, please can anyone help? I have 4 hobby hens that are housed in a very old wooden coop, which due to all the bad weather over the last few months has reached the end of the road. We are planning to purchase an eglu, but will the hens accept, AND settle in? I'm terribly worried that they won't know this as 'home'. Has anyone rehoused esablished hens this way? Thank you in advance...
Redwing
If you put them to bed n the Eglu when you get it you should be fine They will try to return to their old coop the next evening though so se that first day to get it out of the way so as not to confuse them
Patricia W
See my post about musical eglus - you can see that mine certainly have little attachment to a particular house. Good job really with my OH around... Tricia
