Treekeeper Posted January 24, 2010 Share Posted January 24, 2010 Well I think the Cube has some issues: the door closer is on the wrong side, Not as well built as the Eglu. The drainage holes are massive and all the bedding falls through even if you line it with newspaper. I didn't get all the bits like the partition wall is missing Why isn't the grub bigger? However it does have some pluses: amusement factor watching chooks attempt to get in at night. Plenty of room for the ladies. Patricia W Posted January 25, 2010 Share Posted January 25, 2010 Both have advantages and disadvantages. I find the cube so much easier to clean out. Some of my chooks prefer the cube because it lets them roost " up high"- one even perches on the nest box divider to get as high as she can! And they like the space in the cube.
