Space Chick
My Barnebar Peri lays very pale eggs and not the dark brown I was expecting, she also kept me waiting a while from crouching too, but not 29 days, I think it was about 2 1/2 weeks. grracee
I have 2, first time they started laying i can't really remember how long it was from squatting but my two lay light brown (sometimes darker) speckled (sometimes) eggs. They are starting to come into lay again now after their first moults, Brownie has been squatting for about a week now and no eggs yet so i suppose they could be anytime! How red is her comb? You can normally tell by that too. Lovely looking chicken there rufusrooster, did you get her from the Wernlas???
