Egluntyne

Eerie experience.

Recommended Posts

It happened again tonight.

Sudden flapping of wings, and a definite draught as it went past.

It circled round and went into the woodland area at the bottom of the gardens.

Am going to have to buy that fencing mask.

I think it must live in one of my trees.

I don't want to disturb it really, so may stop going out to close the Eglu doors.

What d'ya reckon.

Oo, that's so lovely Egluntine; you're really lucky. We hearthe owls in the park at the end of our road, but none in the garden. We do have collared doves though and a wood pecker, but we never see any small birds cos the cats frighten them off

Phil's folks have loads of lovely birdlife on their farm - we had an owl swoop in front of us last summer as we took an evening walk in one of the fields of wheat - Rosie was delighted.

Mel (& Paul) are doing a bird of prey handling course - she'll be delighted to hear about this.
