Hi Poet, that wasn't at the Everyman theatre restaurant was it? It looked familiar. Oh & the lady in the pink shrug looked like my old Au pair best mate. I wonder if it was? Her name was Isobel.

Well done!

Oh how funny that I recognised it from years ago! I did my Pathology training at the Liverpool Royal & stayed in halls in Prescot Street. I had a pet pigeon that I used to buy corn for (don't ask). The Everyman was our regular feed up - good grub place & we were very often in The Philharmonic pub too. Weekends it was Matthew Street & The Cavern. Those were the days! I love Liverpool. I cried like a baby when I had to leave & go back home.:oops:

I love The Everyman - I didn't realise it was still open as a restaurant. I'll have to go back some day.

What a shame that Sarah wasn't my best long lost mate. :( Ah well.

don't know The Feathers...I know what you'd like, go to the bistro/restaurant at The Maritime Museum at the dock and have afternoon tea, it's fab, very posh, great views and the food is lovely! :D

You won't recognise Liverpool if you haven't been for ages, so many new buildings have gone up since 2008.
