Neil & Sal
Thought I'd stick this on here in case anyone was interested. For the last few years I've been doing a monthly allotment diary for the BBC Essex website. Below should be the link to the august article (hopefully ) http://www.bbc.co.uk/essex/features/gardening/allotment_diary/allotment_diary_august_05.shtml Thought some might find it interesting or just a bit of fun. Cheers

motherhen
What a great idea - I'll have to check out the BBC Radio Newcastle and the Look North (BBC regional TV) websites to see if they have an allotment diary - would be good to see when a local expert plants things out - we are a bit later up here than you get on Gardeners' World. Angela & Ken
Hi Neil. Have read your allotment diary for the past 2 months - really helpful (as we're amateurs of 4 months standing now) and enjoyable. Hope the elephants have long gone! Of course, our nuisance visitor to our plot is, everyone's favourite, the fox! Grrrrrrr. I look forward to October's installment...... We get a load of our info and help from a website called www.allotments-uk.com - lots of members. All the best. Angela

Guest
Hi Neil I 'stumbled' on your site before and enjoyed reading it too - having got my own allotment -as you can see on my www. This is my 3rd year - so mine is not laid out as prettily as yours - yet - but with 330 feet to do on my own, I reckon that I am not doing too badly. Keep up the good work.
