Porkypie
I want to make some peckablocks and have a load of peanuts meant for wild birds. Can I add some of these or are they bad for chickens? Thanks
Tutti Frutti
I think they're OK - I crushed them up and gave them to my sick bird and she was OK. Others have make pekkablocks with them (see here) but I guess, like anything, in moderation

Goosey Lucy
My girls will hoover up any that drop from the bird feeders when I refill them but I don't give them to them deliberately.

Thats what mine are like too. I have also realised lately that the chickens have clicked onto if a crow comes to the bird table they instantly run underneath because they know the crow will drop a few peanuts on the floor. I think as others have said they are fine but not in huge quanties.
