Chicken bald back

Have I got a chicken with Narcalepsy. Is this normal. Our beautiful bantam french maran spends half her day asleep standing up!!! If you manage tro accidently wake her, she clucks frantically and runs around as if she had never been asleep!!!! It is very funny to watch, but is it normal, our other 5 chooks happily wonder around without falling asleep!!

I remember my Molly doing that when I first got her. She always seemed to have her eyes closed . She stopped doing it after a while.

That is what I was worried about. What should I be looking out for. Her eyes still seem bright and she looks healthy.

is she eating, drinking? what are her poos like?

Has she laid and when last,?

eyes bright is good

When I first had mine, one was really really ill and I was too inexperienced to know.

Someone said to me.

"you know your chickens now(3 weeks)... go with your gut instincts if you are worried take her to a vet".

the vet treated her but didn't think she would make i t, but she did , turned into my biggest strongest and head chook!
