My dad said he would like to enter my silkie bantam to the show so i said let me just ask a few people of omlet first so here are a few pics and let me know what you think ... Redwing Posted February 26, 2010 Share Posted February 26, 2010 there is nothing really wrong with her - she has straight feet and proper blue earlobes providing she is nice and clean for the show she wont discrace you, I'm not a judge so I bet there are lots of things they look for that we as amaturs wont know about so ask the judge after all the judging is done what he thinks of her to get some feedback for next time, sometimes there are things you can do to improve theor chances and sometimes there arent Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also, the comb is a little bigger than it should be, wattles should be either absent or very small. Points wise: Type - 20 Head - 30 Legs - 10 Colour - 10 Plumage - 30 Things you need to check as they are serious defaults are hard feathers, green beak or tip to beak, horns on comb, eye not black, incorrect colour in plumage or skin, green soles to the feet & uneven wattles.
