Chicken boarders

Today is day 12 and I candled again (done it every day since I got high lume ) and yesterday all I could see was a bigger airsac, today there are big veins in both the maran and aracuna -although the dark 'patch' in the maran isn't huge, when I did the aracuna (which does not candle easily)I very clearly saw something wriggling about! I am so happy!!! I know some of you are probably , but this is my first lot and it just seems so incredible, especially since they are from ebay!

I can totally see why people suggest candling only after 12 days, it was amazing what has changed overnight.

Oo, and my cheapy forced air inc has been shipped so I need to order some more eggs - hehe

I got my forced egg inc today, it looks as cheap as it was (as in home-made) but it is working (am testing it right now) and I think it might be ok. So what happened, been on ebay bidding on Indian Game eggs and Wheaten Maran Budgeting moi? Well, they are an investment hey!

Had some good news today, my very first chicks (in my avatar) that I started with all those yrs ago came from my Mum's school (they do that rental thing). Anyway, they come part incubated as obviously kids couldn't possibly wait 21 days, and are arriving Monday so I will be able to get some chicks if I end up with just the one next Saturday (or of course just because I fancy one gingernut amongst my purebreds for old times sake ).

God, why didn't anyone warn me it was this addictive?!!!
