Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Can anyone advise me, what quantity of auboise will I nedd to cover a 12x6 ft run? I think it comes in 20 kg sacks.

 

Will 2 sacks suffice for initial floor covering?

mines 12 x 6 and I would say I use 3/4 of a bag each time, but it dpends on how thick you like it..

it's a good few inches deep, you have to remember the aubiose is tightly packed in there

I have swtiched for the time being to bedmax which is bigger shavings as I got the bale for 99p on ebay..

She collected I believe as it was just round the corner As I recall the seller was a bit miffed he had to give it to her for 99p (auction) so she gave him a pund coin and let him keep the penny!

 

I have a run of the sameish size and put half a sack in and then top it up with a couple of trugs every now and then. I also make a point poo picking most days and giving it a fluff up by kicking it about with my wellies. I also skip out the area by the door as my lot tend to hang out there dragging their little beaks up and down the wire trying to guilt trip me into letting them out!

I think he bought it opened it up and taped it back again as it wasn't what he thought it was. best buy I've had on ebay I think.. Eagle eyes Em spotted it otherwise I would have missed it..
