lisaroo2
I can't believe it. Daisy has let me stroke her! How long have I been waiting? Two flipping years!!! I went to give the girls their tea this afternoon and she was near to the netting, as I walked into the run she crouched and then let me stroke her. I was totally amazed! I've tried everything and she's never let me near her before. AND she's used the tyre dust bath that I built last week. And, after 6 months of no eggs, we think Maisie is getting herself sorted! (I found a small paleish egg this afternoon, so fingers crossed). Phew, what an afternoon!

Have they used it much??? I might have to do one ... At least the girls wouldn't be able to kick it over!!
Space Chick
ANH had a tyre dustbath for her girls and they were petrified of it, so she had to remove it.
chick wiggle
I have 3 tyre dustbaths for my girls, one in the run and two outside and they love it, always in there. So try one, you can get them free from your local tip.
lisaroo2
Hi I've seen Daisy use it just the once and then today they've ALL made dustbaths just outside of the tyre!!! And there was me thinking I was doing them a favour!!!
LJ's Chooks
Oh how funny... As hard as they tried to resist it, they just couldn't I had a punctured tyre that I kept, so though I'd just try, oh they were funny and never cease to amaze me, they have to wait for mocha to give his permission before they could go in!!! And then of course they all had to try and get in at once!!
