Omlet Smart Autodoor - New in box

Now that my plants are beginning to show i need to keep the girls off the flower beds. I have already extended their area from their eglu standard run by using netting from Knowle nets and it runs along the hedge giving them another 3 sq m or so. I am feeling a little guilty and I want to give them a bit more space. The eglu is alongside the swing and if i was to run more netting from the current extra bit it would come under the swing and the girls would be in the direct line of flying feet and the kids wouldnt be too happy. I reckon though that i could run a similar area off the back of the eglu and along the other hedge. To do this though they would have to access it from the egg port, do you reckon they would suss that or do I just try to stop them making me feel guilty? I can't turn the eglu round or put it anywhere else.

I think they would suss it, especially when one went to lay and egg, however, i dont know how they would feel about laying eggs with the egg port door missing.

 

Your call on your girls you know them better than anyone else
