staceychristie
Any one had success cleaning poo from vent feathers following a poorly episode? She's fine now, and poo is normal. I was thinking of giving them a baby shampoo, or cutting the poo off from the rest of feather. Problem is that the other girls like to help preen each other - and that's just not nice Thanks Stacey
Egluntyne
Warm water and a few drops of Ecover washing up liquid is what I use. I have a few 'dedicated' hen cloths that I use for this purpose. If you are going to trim any feathers, best to use round ended scissors.
staceychristie
That's a good idea, thought it would have to be a gentle shampoo. I can see us falling out over having a wash and brush up Stacey X
