Hi

 

After letting the new girls out I noticed shortly afterwards that there was an egg in the glug....it appears that one of the newbies laid her egg in there.

 

Is there any reason why and how can I stop it from happening again in the future....I guess it is because she is not sure of the ladder.

I've never heard of that before . Is it her first egg? It may have taken her by surprise . She'll probably get the hang of where to lay but if it is the ladder that's the problem, perhaps you could temporarily put a ramp of some sort up it for her? Or something for her to use as a step up (a flowerpot?)

Unfortunately not her 1st egg and I have got them a couple of bricks to use as a step up already.
