half dozen
A big hello...not been on here for a while! My gorgeous cochin Willow has gone broody this week so today we thought we would treat her to some fertile eggs!!!!! I went to great lengths to get some eggs and in the mean time moved her to a quite place on her own with some of our eggs. The fertile eggs are sat now waiting to go under her and she has not yet gone on her new nest!! she is strutting around clucking but will not go on the eggs!!! Is this because I have moved her and she needs time to re adjust?????
Redwing
yes its probably because you have ,oved her, do you have some rubber or sacraficial eggs on the nest for her to cosy over? if not pop some in Your hatching eggs will be ok for about a week after they were laid
