Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

Hi everyone,I am hoping to get 4 battery hens soonish and am on the lookout for an eglu for them.There are several on ebay but have read on the omlet site that the mark 1 has different roosting bars and accomodates up to 3 ordinary sized chickens whereas the mark 2 can take 4-5.Does anyone know if the mark 1 can take larger roosting bars of the mark 2? Help appreciated as i don't want to get one that's too small yet can't be altered.Thanks for looking.

The mark 1 is slightly smaller and will not accomodate the roosting bars from the mark 2.

Did you know Omlet do reconditioned eglus? It's worth phoning up to see what they have in stock. Mine was a reconditioned one and you really wouldn't have known. All the extras are brand new .

Thanks guys,I think I will need a mk2 or a Go.Will look into maybe getting a recon one
