coco
Pipa has gone broody again and Coco was showing signs of starting yesterday afternoon so I turfed them both out of the house and shut the door. I went out to give them some corn later on and there was no sign of Coco, she has been known to escape but usually stays by the fence trying to get back in with the others (she's not the brightest chook around bless her] We looked everywhere for her and she eventually reappeared. I decided to let Pipa back in the house and Coco came running like something possesed and purring as she ran into the house. I checked the house a short time later and she had laid an egg. Poor chook must have been hanging on to it all afternoon. No egg from her today, I think she must be getting her own back.
