Pro - Does anyone else's nest boxes get soaked in rain?

You really need to rethink. Sorry. It is possible but unlikely that you may achieve a late hatch, but it is not worth the time spent waiting tbh.

What type of incy is it - what heating element does it have?

 

Could you add a small light bulb to provide a bit more heat, or cover the top to provide a bit more insulation?

I find my incy stays at a much more stable temperature with a place mat on the top, to keep heat in

i have got a polestrene lid on it and its in the airing cupboard where it is a constant heat
