lloyd
Hi I'm not sure if I spotted Mavis slip over yesterday or not, but last night and this morning she has been walking with a limp and raising her claw when standing still. She is still using her legs but tends to liftthe right one is stationary for more than a few seconds. I'm worried for her so picked her up and did a quick check. She doesn't mind me touching her leg or foot and nothing looks or feels swollen from the feathers down on her leg, however she does seem tonpoint her toes in a little (not sure if I'm over analysing that though) if she did slip should I do something to help or leave her to get on with her day? Egluntyne
They often sustain injuries of this sort whilst bimbling about the garden. I'd just keep an eye on it for now. Look out for swelling etc.
lloyd
She is walking around and I noticed that she does put weight on it if she is eating. I was/am worried it could be an infection but as I mentioned she seemed to be fine one minute and limping the next. I'll keep an eye out on my chicken cam I have just installed. lloyd
So she has been out all day, and was running and hopping on it, but every time she stops moving she lifts it up. Can it be any thing viral or mite related? where should I look for mites on her? L
