LuckyChickenLover-
How big should the pieces that I feed my 2 week old chicks be? Up till now I've been really careful with the size of food that I give my chooks, (even cutting up peas, and putting pumpkin seeds in the blender!) as I don't want my chicks to choke. Am I being over protective? The chick crumbs that I buy are really finely ground , so I assume that chicks can only eat really small pieces of food. Also, can fully grown chickens eat olives? I'm thinking of growing an olive tree in my garden for the hens. Thanks ~ Lucky Chicken Lover
Redwing
yes, keep treats tiny for now, when they get to about 6 weeks you can introduce bigger things I'm not sure about the olives, if they are fresh and not soaked in anything they may be ok
