Busybird Posted April 11, 2010 Share Posted April 11, 2010 I leave mine on their own for 2 or 3 nights when we go camping. Longer than that and I get someone to come in to top up food and water and collect eggs. I put out extra feed and drink containers when they are left. Redwing Posted April 11, 2010 Share Posted April 11, 2010 2 or 3 nights is ok In the summer make sure you leave them with plenty of water, a couple of drinkers is a good idea in the winter you will not be able to leave them if there is a chance the water will freeze so a neighbour with a kettle of hot water and.or a hammer will be needed!
