angel 0406 Posted April 12, 2010 Share Posted April 12, 2010 hi all what a lovely weekend we have had havent we but i have some questions about the chicks 1)how long do they stay in the brooder under the lamp 2)i have a set up for them in my utility room which is out side a little coop and run what age can they go there 3)when can they go out on the grass in a run next to the old girlsand stay in there own coop at night out side i would like to hatching more eggs in a few months but would like the chicks settled with my old girls first so i havent got all different stages going on or do you think that is better to get it over with at once so the old girls arnt to dissturbered by all thier new friends joining them i have 1 cukoo maran 1black rock 1black silkie either a light sussex or blue orpinton these are the chicks and only keeping 1 girl if any are a girl next hatch cream legbar do you think all the different breeds are ok together or would there be a better breed with the mix i already have thanks amie x Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
