iandjsmum
Am so excited. Have broody hen (pekin bantam) and am off to get hatching eggs on Saturday. We want scots dumpies so will put a couple of those under but wondered if anyone could think of another smallish bird that we could hatch who might live happily with pekins and dumpies? I like the sussex bantam but wondered if anyone had any suggestions. Don't want a broody breed though. Thanks and will keep you posted. Guest
I have 2 light sussex bantam hens and they were brought up with pekins scots dumpys marsh daisies etc. they are a very cute little bird and love affection. Just one thing if you have them free ranging in your garden they like to destory plants and dig up the soil.
