Anti Feather Pecking Spray

Recommended Posts

Has anyone had any luck using these products?

We recently adopted 4 Lohmans, all in lay. They settled in really well with our girls and things seemed to going well.

We then thought our girls were in moult :? However, on closer inspection noticed it was actually the newbies pulling feathers from our girls only (not eachother) - mainly from the rear but also from the neck, chest and leg areas.

We immediately fitted them all with bumper bits and the problem eased for a while. Seems they've gotten used to them as they're at it again

The purchase and application of Nettex Anti-Feather Pecking Spray doesn't seem to have worked either :wall:

The 2 main cuplrits were removed last evening and we're closely watching the remaining 2 newbies. Regrettably, this cannot be a permanent solution as I'm looking to sell our Eglu

Anyone have any ideas? - all suggestions gratefully received ...

Kind rgds, Pat & Steve
