staceychristie
Well, All my girls have had a wonderful time during the moult. I wish someone would tell them that they should be laying again. Last run of eggs we had was in November. Davina (The Boss) lays 1 every 2 days. The rest are enjoying the sun. They've got top notch SmallHolder ExBatt feed, ACV, fresh water every day, access to the garden, and plenty of entertainment. Any one else got any ideas (before I actually have to BUY some eggs) Stacey
Egluntyne
I'd have a hunt round to make sure that they aren't laying in the garden, under a shrub. I'd also withhold all treats, limit free ranging till the afternoon, and maybe try a different feed. The Ex batt range has had mixed press. staceychristie
Thanks Egluntyne, Well we've had to swap to Smallholder Natural Freerange Layers pellets, as my local supplier failed me this week. I must admit though, that I've been off work for quite a while with a back injury, so they've spent almost all day out in the garden. I don't think they're laying in a hidy hole, as our garden is almost devoid of plants (NOW!!!) . I'll try your advice, and see what happens. Thanks Stacey
