Lydiakate Posted April 20, 2010 Share Posted April 20, 2010 Hello. I hope I have posted in the correct section I've keeping a few hens for about 6 years but my new purple cube arrived last Friday. I haven't put it together completely as yet but hope that my Wags (Nancy, Victoria, Alex and Coleen) will be in by the weekend. Dh, DF and I have moved loads of huge boulders from our fenced off area at the bottom of the garden in preparation to laying a slabbed area to put the cube on. You must be an expert on chickens after 6 years even if you're a newbie here . Putting your cube on slabs sounds like a good idea if you're bothered by rats . We've had a rat and it drove me nuts! we had pest control out and they put bait boxes down which done the trick. We are now going to keep a permanent box down just in case.
