Tarpaflex - another question!

Recommended Posts

We have decided to go for a Tarpaflex to cover our 4 metre run (not inc under the cube) - I have read previous posts but am getting a little confused (not hard! :D ) on what size to get and what type of bungees to get.

As we have a 4m run, do we go for 2m x 4.6? Will that be enough to cover the sides?

I have seen people mention the eyelet kit- will I need to get one? Ball bungees - are these the best to get, do they just fasten at the bottom, rather than having to have bungees stretched over the run?

I want a sleek, smooth effect....so suggestions please! :D

I notice most sizes are out of stock at Tarpaflex - any other similar stockists of good quality covers?

Thank you! :D

The size is before seams etc.. are done so 4.6 is probably about right as you'll lose a bit to the seams

The cbe run is about 1m across the top so a 2 metre on wont cover much of the sides when you have lost some to seams, only about a foot or so either side i'd say

ball bungees are good (once you figure them out  ) and yes they mean that you dont need bungees stretched over the top

The eyelet kit would be if you want more eyelets for attachment - the tarps have eyelets at 1m intervals as standard I think

Thanks Tasha

The thing is 2m is the only width - would be interested how other Omleteers have got round this - or am I missing the obvious?!
