squidsin
Just got my first chooks - two adorable pekin bantams (I'll post pix later). They've tucked themselves up for the night in their Eglu, and I am about to shut the door (just to be extra fox-proof) but what happens if they need a drink in the night? Their Glugs are out in the run. Will they be OK until I let them out tomorrow?
Egluntyne
They won't need a drink in the night. No need to worry on that score.
Falkor
As Egluntyne says they will be ok overnight. But...it is going to be daylight for a good couple of hours yet unless you are off out until tomorrow am I would leave the eglu door open until dark incase they decide to get up to investigate their new home or want a drink or some food. Looking forward to pics
squidsin
I just had a look in at them and they look very settled so I think I'll leave them for tonight - I don't want them disturbed or upset at all. My husband will open the door at 6am tomorrow so they can get a drink and breakfast then.
