Using a microfibre cloth on your face

Recommended Posts

I haven't been around here for a while, but thought some of you might be interested in a little experiment I'm doing, involving just using water and a microfibre cloth on my face. I find these days that water only seems to benefit my skin (possibly even more than the oil cleansing method that I started a thread on a long time ago). But it doesn't remove make up. The microfibre cloth seems to remove all traces of make up with just water - it's quite amazing how clean it leaves the skin. It exfoliates too.

Anyway, just thought I'd see if anyone was interested! :)

Well I was a convert to the oil cleansing method, but like you I've more or less given up and just use water now - I'm intrigued by this though, it all sounds logical and exfoliation is something I need - I often end up just rubbing my face with a flannel. I'll give it a try (may need to buy a new one, as I think all the ones under the sink have been used!).

Should that be before or after I've cleaned the shower screen with it? :D

I've used water only for years now - don't use any foundation so no need to remove make-up, my lipstick has always worn off by bedtime! Cold water certainly wakes up my skin in the morning
