chuckmum6 Posted May 1, 2010 Share Posted May 1, 2010 These are the pictures of the eggs my broody has sat on for seven day, I think half are infertile and the other I don't know about - help please. The one I am hopeful about? These two have a shadowy shape 2 are like this infertile I think and this one no real shadow but a couple of lines? Redwing Posted May 1, 2010 Share Posted May 1, 2010 You should see a dark spot so no 1 looks good, you should also see red blood vessels which look like lines so the last one sounds ok The infertile ones you are correct about Pics 2 and 3 look inconclusive, the dark area is too big really I'd take out the infertiel two and leave the rest for now Candle in another week to be sure Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have a couple of very determined other broody hens who I might give some more hens to for another go, if I can get some more eggs.
