We used to have an eglu but sold it to make room for 25 ex-batts 2 years ago. Sadly Mr Fox killed the last one in November so we have been without chickens for ages! We have decided to get a cube as we never had any murders when they were locked away proberly! I am collecting 6 ex-batts on friday so need to get my husband in gear tonight making it up!!!!! They called the courier and they have appeared to have lost it! OMG how can you lose a massive cube? I am at a loss how that can happen! So I had a day off work for nothing! They are going to find out what has happened to it and let me know tomorrow. To sad I am annoyed is an understatement! Sorry for the rant! Question about the last lot of ex-batts. Yes Mr Fox came and took them 4 at a time over a course of 2 weeks. Last lot he ripped the whole of the back of the hen house (wooden one) off and dragged the out. It was devastating thats why we are going for the safer option this time. lets hope it arrives tomorrow. Don't think the farmer is going to save the chickens for me if I don't pick them up tonight I will call him later when I know but I promised we would pick them up tonight and he was reluctant to wait this long! Dave .....ref the van company I totally agree with you. I reckon it got a little late and they decided to go home instead! Gits they dont think about the fact that people have the day off work and other things depend on the delivery. 6 chickens instead of having a life outside of a cage will more than likely be killed!
