squidsin
My pekins don't seem all that interested in their pellets (although they do eat them). In fact I am starting to think Nugget has a death wish, as she makes a beeline for all the plants on the 'poisonous to chickens' list sticky. My climbing hydrangea seems to be a favourite, and I have to keep shooing her off my lupins. She also watched with great interest as I cleaned out the cat's dirt box, washing it over the drain in our garden, then drank the soapy liquid I'd washed it in and ate some rogue bits of cat litter that had made a break for freedom. I tried to shove her away but she was really determined! She does love mealworms and normal s"Ooops, word censored!"s too. She's not trying to top herself is she?! The little nutter. Plum
Mad chickens. They start eating more pellets when they come into lay but still eat anything you think is disgusting.
Mollie333
My pekins are like that. totally normall. But if they loose weight, then start worrying.
